   GI Bill® Comparison Tool

Are you enrolled, or do you plan to enroll, in school under the Post-9/11 GI Bill this year? If so, check out your estimated monthly housing allowance using the GI Bill Comparison Tool. Beginning August 1, 2018, VA will calculate monthly housing payments using the zip code of the campus you physically attend for most of your classes, which may be different than the actual school location.

The Tuition Assistance (TA) Program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty civilian education programs in support of a Soldier’s professional and personal self-development goals.

Transfer GI Bill Educational Benefits – If you are eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill program, you can use the Transfer of Education Benefits (TEB) page to request a transfer of your DoD educational benefits to your eligible family members. You can transfer up to 36 months of unused educational assistance to your eligible family members.

Electronically submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All students interested in financial aid for college will need to complete this form.

The South Carolina National Guard Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students who are members or dependents of members (active or retired) of the South Carolina National Guard, the National Guard Association of South Carolina, EANGUS, and/or NGAUS.

Air National Guard 169th Fighter Wing. The 169th Fighter Wing is the primary unit of the South Carolina Air National Guard and is located at McEntire Joint National Guard Base. The 169th Fighter Wing flies the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a single-seat multi-purpose fighter with the capability to fly at up to twice the speed of sound.
